Transactional Advisory Services

At SMC, we take pride in our experience and know-how in providing roadmap advisory services to parties who wish to be involved in activities centering around the Article 6 of the 2015 Paris Accord. This involves the acquisition of Letter of No Objection from various states to project developers and/or counterparts signatories to the Accord. We assist project developers engage with relevant government departments to achieve this. At the same time, we give advisory directions aimed at helping various state departments draft relevant legislation and laws to operationalize the Accord. We have relevant experience in negotiating for the best position for both parties that are involved in ITMOs generation, and eventually their commercialization. Our expertise is not only limited to this but also includes carbon credit marketing.
